Informative and Interesting
At one time the No. 11 highway went right through Craik, as it did many small towns, and there were 3 full service gas stations to serve the traffic. But with progress and time the highway re-routed around the town to make travel more convenient and faster. There are still 2 stations along the old highway route but now-a-days they don't see the highway traffic like they used to.
Both McRae Farm Service and the Craik CO-OP are located in town along the old highway and are open daily with both gas and diesel. Fleet cards are available for evening and late night fueling. Stop in at the stations for full details on these and other programs. As well Acklands Service Station is located on the service road at the main entryway into Craik. Gas and diesel are both available along with a convenience store and vehicle repair shop.
