Craik and the surrounding community is very lucky to have a wonderful Public Library available to our residents. The library is located in the historic “Old Town Hall” right on main street, downtown Craik. Books, movies, maps, computers etc are all available to “check out!” Through out the year there are a number of children’s programs, contests and special days that are held at the library so be sure to check that out. Your kids will enjoy it and have fun with their friends and make new ones too!

Craik “Old Town Hall”
The old town hall is home to the Craik Library as well as the Craik Oral History Society and the farmer’s market during the summer months. Over the years this Grand ‘ol Girl” has also been home to the RCMP, the Craik town office and council chambers, the fire department and of course the town hall. The hall is still used occasionally and there is still the old jail cell located in the basement of the building from it’s days as the RCMP barracks. Built in 1913, this legendary landmark on our main street remains useful and is revered by our local citizens. Be sure to check it out when you visit Craik!
